Paint Creek Software LLC
Terms of Use
Effective October 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website, run by Paint Creek Software LLC of Arlington, Virginia. They are not the terms of any work we do for you: an engagement is governed by its own written agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.
Using the site
You may read the site, link to it, and use the forms and the calendar to get in touch. You may not scrape it, send it automated traffic, probe or try to get around its security, or use it to send anything unlawful or abusive.
What the content is, and is not
Everything on the site is general information about how we work. It is not legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice, and it does not create an engagement; only a signed agreement does that.
The figures on the Factory page describe measured days of our own work, counted as the page explains. They are a record of what happened, not a promise of what any particular project will cost or how fast it will go; that is set in the written spec and estimate for the project.
We try to keep the site accurate and current, and we correct mistakes when we find them, but we make no promise that it is complete or error-free at any given moment.
Ownership
The text, photographs, diagrams, design and code of the site belong to Paint Creek Software LLC or are used with permission. Client quotes appear with their authors' consent and remain theirs. Product and company names mentioned on the site (Lovable, v0, Base44, Replit, Calendly, LinkedIn and others) are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what we do.
You may quote short passages with a link back. You may not copy, republish or sell the site's content or design without our written permission.
Other people's services
The calendar is Calendly's, and links on the site go to LinkedIn and other sites we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Paint Creek Software LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Arlington County, Virginia.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms; when we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go to ying@paintcreeksoftware.com.
